Over half the teens who were vaping in 2019 had quit by 2021, suggesting that vaping is a fad, not an addiction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"801\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/oyston.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Smoking-and-vaping-US-high-schoolers-past-30d-2004-2021-NYTS-v2.png?resize=1024%2C801&ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2524\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/oyston.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Smoking-and-vaping-US-high-schoolers-past-30d-2004-2021-NYTS-v2.png?resize=1024%2C801&ssl=1 1024w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/oyston.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Smoking-and-vaping-US-high-schoolers-past-30d-2004-2021-NYTS-v2.png?resize=500%2C391&ssl=1 500w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/oyston.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Smoking-and-vaping-US-high-schoolers-past-30d-2004-2021-NYTS-v2.png?resize=768%2C601&ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/oyston.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Smoking-and-vaping-US-high-schoolers-past-30d-2004-2021-NYTS-v2.png?w=1426&ssl=1 1426w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/>
Teen smoking is associated with anhistoric decrease in teen smoking.
