Studied medicine at Newcastle. Served as an orthopaedic surgeon in the RAF. Lived in Aden and Germany. Worked in the NHS in Halifax. Now retired.
Gazetted as Flying Officer (1950), Flight Lieutenant (1951), promoted to Wing Commander (1963), Retired (1969).
